Joey Afshari is a seasoned intelligence and technology professional whose 15-plus-year career in the U.S. Air Force and government contracting has been defined by deep expertise in multi-domain analysis, cyber training environments, and advanced military systems. As a Senior All-Source Intelligence Officer, he led cross-functional teams in synthesizing HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, and open-source data to deliver actionable insights at the national-level, guiding strategists and decision-makers through complex threat environments.

In his role as a Senior Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) Subject Matter Expert, Joey architected ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­and managed scalable, realistic cyber ranges used to train operators across the Department of Defense. He designed red-team/blue-team scenarios that sharpened defensive tactics against advanced persistent threats, ensuring readiness for real-world cyber operations.

Joey’s tenure as a Senior Military Systems Specialist saw him integrate cutting-edge sensor, weapons, and command-and-control systems into joint‐force exercises, advising on interoperability and mission planning. As an Intelligence Analyst supporting government agencies, the DoD, and top military contractors, he honed his ability to translate technical data into strategic recommendations—balancing risk, capability, and policy imperatives while holding high level security clearance.
